Eoncore Head Up Display –

I really was excited to get this after seeing some similar online.
I drive a lot and although I have a built in gps in my car it just does not have access to all of the newer areas.
To get where I need to go I have to punch it in my phone.
I will admit that I have been known to drive one handed with GPS on phone in the other hand. (I know that’s not the best idea )

I need a better solution.
The idea with this head up display is that I can set my phone on the base of this and it will reflect the screen up on its plastic screen that is in front of my windshield.
They even say that most GPS now a days have a reverse option that can be clicked to reverse the screen so things wont be displayed backwards.

This comes with the display and a screen that needs to be secured to the top visual screen.
It is very easy to attach and almost like a plastic phone screen cover.

I did try to use this on our 45 minute drive to town a couple of days and just could not get it working how I need.
The first thing I noticed is that when you sit the phone on the base, it does slip a bit.
A rubber mat was included but I assumed it was for underneath the whole display to keep it from sliding on the dashboard.
I think a second mat was needed possibly.

As far as the display:
In the photos I have seen, this is at a 90degree position and you can see the screen easily.
That did not work for me.
I had to angle this down maybe like 45degrees to even get any visual.

So if I wanted to see well I could either:
Prop it up from the bottom
Prop my phone up a bit
or bend my head down and try to peer to see the rest of the screen. (about half was easily visible)

For the visible part it was very clear and gave a bright display.
I would have loved for this to work for me.
I read and re-read the instructions in hope of getting this to work. But is was no use.

(My Note 3 did not have the option to reverse the GPS image, nor did my Note edge )

If anyone else has had any better luck I am up for suggestions 🙂

Ivation 1800 Watt Portable Induction…

Ivation 1800 W portable conduction glass stovetop burner

I purchased this Ivation 1800 W portable conduction glass stovetop burner to use while making tea when sitting outside with my husband.

I thought this would be so much more handy than running back into the house every time my husband wanted another cup of tea.

After using this and seeing how easy this is to use and how quick this heats up cutting my cooking time down I will be definitely keeping this in the house.

This little cute convection cooktop can boil water or cook food much faster than my regular electric stovetop.

The top is smooth as glass which can be wiped Easley down with the sponge no big long cleanup.

Most cookware already works with this.

I did not have to look for anything special in my home and I was able to use this easily.

If you would like to know is your cookware compatible with this cooktop you can do the magnet test. Grab any magnet and if it sticks to your pot or pan then it does have capabilities of being used with this.

Some of the things listed in the instructions that work with this is steel or cast-iron, enameled iron. Stainless steel with magnetized bottom. Flat bottomed pots and pans with a diameter of 4.75 inch to 10.25 inch .

I use the regular teapot and did not have any problem with this. I also used one of my T-Fal pans that worked great also as well as my cast-iron pan .

They do recommend not using heat resistant glass ceramic containers, copper or aluminum or rounded bottom pots or pans that are under 4.75 inches in diameter.

This has 10 levels of power. You can put it as low as 140° and as high as 460°. You also can switch this over to a number system of 1 to 10.

I tried boiling one cup of water tap water in the teapot and within 30 seconds it was boiling. I was shocked!.

I did try later to boil a full tea pot of water and it took about 2 1/2 to 3 minutes from the cold tap to a full rolling boil.

Immediately when I remove the teapot or any other cookware the cooktop turns off.

The cool thing about this is it’s much safer than regular glass cooktops since it is not getting hot. The convection feature is totally different than regular electric burners.
After I took my teapot off I could easily put my hand and touch the glass without being burnt, although I don’t recommend doing that as a general rule. It was very hot but not so uncomfortable I couldn’t touch the glass. Within 30 seconds it had totally cooled down.

My electric glass top stove takes much longer than that after I boil a couple of water to cool down.

This would be great for her dorm room, and addition to your kitchen, or even to take with you while traveling.

I am loving this cooktop and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a better way of cooking and save some electric at the same time.

I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. All opinions are 100% my own after personally trying this product.
